La Torre (The Tower) stands out from neighbours in Finca Rocabella
not only because of its structure, which resembles a watchtower
you might find in the Islamic world, but also because of its
situation. It is surrounded by an array of indigenous vegetation
and enjoys perhaps the most spectacular views of the fertile
Guadalhorce valley. Its position also gives it unrivalled privacy.
La Torre has been built scrupulously following the traditional
building techniques of this area using terracotta brick, stone,
wood and cane as the basic construction materials.

On the ground floor there is a
circular sitting/dining room where the main feature is an attractive
fireplace. There is also a bathroom with a shower, a bedroom with
two single beds and a fully equipped kitchen on this floor. A
semicircular staircase winds round the central chimney leading
you upstairs to the reading room where natural light floods in.
This in turn will take you to the main double bedroom which has
an ensuite bathroom with Jacuzzi and its own terrace.

For a truly relaxing holiday, you
have a swimming pool (6m X 12m) which is fed by a pretty waterfall
emerging from the vegetation. The pool is surrounded by a spacious
lawned garden where the native vegetation has been preserved as
far as possible. Another attractive option is to put on your trekking
shoes and go for a walk in the breathtaking terrain surrounding
you.
La Torre is ideally situated to take utmost advantage of the
